A Week of Kungfu, Culture, and Connection
This year, SKZ Internal Summer Camp brought together 12 young Kungfu students for a week filled with joy, learning, and growth. Under the attentive guidance of TA Ethan Carr and Senior Student Colin Ye, and with the significantly program design and instruction from Master Shifu Andy, the campers experienced a truly meaningful and unforgettable week.
Beyond the main curriculum and newly introduced training projects, each day offered a variety of traditional folk culture and sports activities. During breaks, Shifu Andy led the campers in games and hands-on crafts once loved by parents in their childhood — a delightful blend of play and learning. From crafting traditional hand fans and practicing calligraphy, to the fun of slingshot and an inspiring tea culture experience brought back by Ms. Nicole from the Kungfu Journey in China Trip, every moment was alive with curiosity and creativity.
Cultural connection, creative inspiration, mindfulness, teamwork, and interactive learning are at the heart of the SKZ'S Kungfu Enrichment Summer Camp — and they remain the goals we are dedicated to pursuing.
We can’t wait to see what the next chapter will bring. See you all at next year’s camp for more excitement and adventure!
