Gabriel Khouri Black Belt

I am Gabriel. I have been practicing Kung Fu with Shaolin Kung Fu Zen for over 6 years. Kung Fu keeps me young. It, especially, allows me to spend quality time with my 11 year old daughter and bond with her as we train together. My Kung Fu training helped me develop and improve my physical dexterity and coordination. It also helped me improve my learning and memory. In the first few belts, learning the forms was very time consuming. My mind and body could not easily process the physical and mental synchronicity and learning. Now, even though I am slower than my daughter or young people in general, I do learn faster than I used to, and I compensate for this shortcoming with my perseverance and Shifu's support. What is most important, Kung Fu gives me a great feeling of accomplishment.
