The Chinese Traditional Moon Festival is coming up September 29.
We hope to be sharing our cultural heritage to all our students for about 10–20-minutes with an introduction of this annual celebration and mooncake tasting.
We be sharing the history and traditions of this event on Friday. This will not take up the majority of the class but a small portion near the end.
All the students were having a great time serving each other moon cakes and tea. They also taught one another about the mythology behind the moon festival.
