Ryan Trinh Black Belt/11 years old/Black Belt A black belt is a white belt that never gave up discuss the challenges your body had to endure and the changes your body had to go through in order to adapt in kung fu. How does kung fu help your body?


My topic is about changes and challenges my body had to go through to do Kungfu. During Covid, I had to stay at home, so I started eating more with minimal exercise. This impacted my life since I couldn’t move as easily and started feeling tired.


I knew I needed to try harder to perform well in Kungfu. My experience tells me that it’s really important that we stay healthy and exercise routinely to stay in shape. Taking long breaks can severely impact your body. During Covid, I started to gain lots of weight and was not able to move as efficiently.


Its important to stay active and exercise routinely, or at least some times. I’m going to try to continue kung fu and hope that it helps me gain lots of endurance and remain fit. I would like to thank my parents and my brother for always being their for me and driving me to wushu all the time.


I would also like to thank both Shifus for helping me learn and get this far.
