2/10/2024 San Jose Chinese School (Leland) Thank you to San Jose Chinese School for giving us the opportunity to perform!
Our students have been rehearsing a special routine just for this event. For this event everyone has been practicing dragon ribbon dancing to perform at Leland high school.
Audience members were exposed to three levels of dragon ribbon dancing with increasing lengths of ribbons for the higher levels of difficulty.
Our students also performed their Kungfu routines on top of the dragon ribbon dancing to show that the two practices can help and improve one another.
Our team performance made an excellent showcase for this event. Team members expressed their confidence and well-organized teamwork spirit!
The performance served to show others that both Chinese and Kungfu culture have a strong connection to Chinese New Year.
