Mooncakes, Tea, Stories & Kungfu — Sharing the Joy of Chinese Culture

At Shaolin Kungfu Zen, we believe that learning Kungfu is also a way to experience and understand Chinese culture.

To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, our students took a little time away from their regular training to enjoy a special cultural experience together.

During class, students listened to the story and traditions behind the Mid-Autumn Festival and learned why the festival is an important time for family, togetherness, and gratitude.

After the story, everyone enjoyed traditional mooncakes and shared a cup of Oolong tea together.

For our students, it was a simple but meaningful celebration — learning, tasting, sharing, and enjoying the holiday together.

The classroom was filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of energy. After the celebration, everyone returned to training with even more enthusiasm!

At SKZ, we hope our students can learn not only how to train their bodies and develop their Kungfu skills, but also how to appreciate the culture, traditions, and values behind the art.

Train the Body. Master the Mind. Experience the Culture.

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival from everyone at SKZ!
