The moon festival this year was on September 17th today. We here at SKZ celebrated it together with our students.
For a small portion of the class throughout today, we shared mooncakes and tea with all of our students. The ingredients were announced by the staff. Any students with allergies informed us whether or not they can eat mooncakes after the ingredients have been read.
While eating mooncakes, we also shared everyone a video about the history of the Moon Festival, and its cultural significance. Training Kungfu and experiencing its cultural heritage is the best way for our students to broaden their knowledge and view!
