Judging the Judges; Judge Training

For the past couple weeks our black belts and high-level adult students have been training for judging tests and competitions.

This is one of the many ways being a black belt diverges from the regular belt curriculum.

On their first lessons, they are lectured about the process, paperwork, their speaking, and their posture.

They will continue to practice in the classroom for a few sessions.

The ones who take their roles seriously will get the opportunity to practice scoring during belt tests.

There’s a chance in the near future they will be scoring one of your upcoming belt tests! If they enjoy this role, there will be a possibility for them to continue raising their qualifications for judging high level competitions.
