My name is Matthew, and I’ve been a part of SKZ since I was 5 years old. I am a junior at Santa Teresa High School. During my free time, I enjoy going on adventures and hanging out with my dog.
I’ve been doing Kung Fu for around 10 years. It has drastically improved my determination. My attitude has also changed, as I’m more confident and outgoing. I aspire to stay in a good physical condition throughout my entire life, and Kung Fu helps a lot with that.
My name is Matthew, and I’m a junior at Santa Teresa High School. For the past 10 or so years, I’ve had difficulties with alancing kung fu, my school life, and other activities. My parents have also had to balance kung fu and their jobs in order to support me. For example, many times I had to cancel other plans I had, and my parents would have to leave work early so they could take me to my kung fu classes. At the start, it would take a lot of effort for me to go to kung fu because I wasn’t very social, but after awhile I became more motivated to come. I eventually became less shy, and I started to make more friends. I also started to feel more accomplished and prideful after each class. I have worked hard to become a black belt, and the commitment I put into kung fu ended up being worthwhile.
