July 29th was an eventful Saturday. 10 students from the SKZ studio headed out and performed for our neighbors the Round Table Pizza community. Round table hosted a series of events and invited the SKZ studio to perform for the audience. Before the performance, each student trained, dragged out the carpets and rehearsed in preparation of a good performance. After buckets of sweat, working and helping, the students walked out and greeted the audience.
During the performance, the audience was introduced to all of the performers of every age. As the show carried on, the students went through each form, showcasing their abilities and skills. Forms that were showcased included weapon forms such as the sword and staff as well as hand forms that were either performed solo, or with a large group.
Each and every punch, stomp, and kick were filled with passion and greeted with applause. The students worked hard and performed well, earning themselves a warm and savory pizza provided by Round Table Pizza themselves. We look forward to any future performances, for the Round Table community and for others beyond.
