Simonds Elementary School Multicultural Day Performance

On Friday May 16th, 2025, many of our students who attend Simonds Elementary performed Kungfu for their Multicultural Day event. This time around many of our performers were nervous. For most, it was their first time performing Kungfu in front of an audience. Regardless, they all pushed through and did their best.

Normally when performing for an audience, you become distracted by outside influences. Factors such as unfamiliar surroundings, curious onlookers, chatter and personal stress will go through the minds of our performers. Despite the stress, our performers were able to accomplish a great performance for the audience. Everyone showed great effort. Their shots were heard throughout the venue. Although the performance area was solid concrete, they were able to do challenging jumps without getting injured.

In the end everyone performed to the best of their ability and got a positive reception from the audience. There was a surprisingly sizable number of people watching. All the noise made it more enjoyable for everyone watching as well. We’d like to thank Simonds Elementary School for giving us this opportunity. We look forward to next year’s Multicultural Day invitation!
