Happy Chinese New Year! Despite the cold start to spring, our studio was filled with warmth, creativity, and cultural spirit.
Throughout the week, students explored traditional Lunar New Year activities:
New Year Bookmarks – Creating meaningful designs with Chinese characters to inspire goals for the year ahead.
Paper Cutting – Practicing delicate 2D and 3D designs that encouraged focus and patience.
Calligraphy – Experiencing the calm and beauty of this traditional Chinese art form.
Dumpling Wrapping Practice – Preparing for our annual Dumpling Party using Play-Doh as a fun and creative training tool.
Through hands-on activities, students connected with Chinese culture in a meaningful and engaging way.
