MIT
On Sunday, June 1st, 2025, after passing his black belt test, Niel immediately left for MIT (Massachusetts Institution of Technology) Every time we hear news our students getting into a prestigious school or university, we hold pride in our hearts as a family member would when hearing about the news. We are very proud of your accomplishment.
Neil was always an intelligent individual. He did well to memorize his forms and even helped out other students on their forms as well. Although he wasn’t the most coordinated individual, he has improved overtime as he reached higher belt levels and began taking the content more seriously. Although he never goofed off, his devotion to the art only started to shine around the intermediate to advanced level.
As soon as he passed the belt test and finished taking pictures, Neil was on his way. He said his short and brief goodbyes to the other testers who participated with him, the judges and the Shifus. Congratulations Niel on getting accepted into MIT. If you ‘re ever in the area again, be sure to visit us!

My name is Vanessa Sutijono, and this fall I will be attending University of California, Riverside, with a major in Business Administration. I have been training in Kung Fu since 3rd grade,
throughout those years alongside my siblings Lucas, Quinn and Reese. At UCR, I hope to join a Kung Fu club to continue my journey in Kung Fu. I wish everyone the best of luck on the path towards their black belt and beyond!
