SKZ Hello University 2026

I am Alessandro. Currently, I am a senior at Pioneer High School, and starting this fall, I will be attending San Jose State University (SJSU), majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I am very thankful for the instruction, help, and patience that both Shifus Andy and Vincent and my fellow students have shown to me over the past ten years. Training Kung-Fu has taught me the importance of having regular physical activity to maintain a balanced life. As such, in SJSU, I intend to stay active by joining clubs that allow me to enrich my physical abilities and maintain my body’s well being—aspects of life that I find are exceedingly important to maintain in such a major that demands a rigorous academic lifestyle. While my time in the studio may come to an end, I am determined to take the priceless skills and values of hard work, perseverance, and passion that I have learnt to apply them in all of my future endeavors. I want to say thank you again to my Shifus and my classmates who have helped me over these past ten years. These experiences and moments together have shown me how to grow and improve, and I intend to move further because of your help.
