Over the past couple of weeks, we have been bringing together over twenty of our students for performances at both Simonds Elementary School and Williams Elementary School. These performances will be taking place this Friday during both schools’ multicultural festivals.
Our students have been practicing hard together in order for the upcoming performances to run smoothly. Through this experience, they have learned teamwork, how to coordinate with a large group, and how to perform within time required for the scheduled time frame. These rehearsals also introduce a new way for the students to interact with their peers.
On the evening of May 15th, we held our final rehearsal. Tensions were high and our performers were at peak excitement. Everyone is aware of what to do and where to be. Thanks to all of our practice, and everyone is ready for an astounding performance. We have done all we can to prepare all of our students for the multicultural festival performances, now all that remains is the final showtime performance.
Thank you to all the parents who have helped to support your children during our dress rehearsal, your presence and support was greatly appreciated.
Good luck to all of our performers this Friday!!!
