We have just finished the third week of Kungfu at Enlighten Chinese School. The number of students this week is 9. The class is composed of 7 boys and 2 girls.
We’ve seen some of these students before in previous summer camp classes and one of them is a student we know from SKZ. On this third week, Justin L. is once again helps as the assistant Kungfu teacher with Vincent N. continuing to be the main Kungfu teacher. As the third week comes to an end, Justin has obtained some major indispensable social skillsets that will continue to help him in life down the line.
This week’s main project is wooden daggers. This weapon is highly anticipated among students. Many of them were excited to learn about daggers and how to use them. As the class is more excited than usual, the students were much rowdier as a result. A number of students signed up for multiple weeks of Kungfu.
We expect to see many of them again after seeing how receptive they were to our classes. We will be looking forward to the next week of summer camp.
